All the Daily soaps is some or the other way related to the viewer. If we seen in the initial stage when daily soaps were started from the story lone of the god and goddess,which have gain them a great and unlivable success all through in all regional language. Then they started picking the topics of joint family's and potraited in such a way that it have hit the minds of people and they started accepting daily soaps in their daily life tunes.

If we look back to the history regarding the emergence of the the concept of the daily soaps in India, then we can clearly see the element of preserving the Indian culture.Many of the super stars have got their popularity by the medium of Daily soaps. The best example is of Shahrukh Khan who got his fame from (Fauji), 1988 and Vidhya Balen from (Hum Paanch), 1995 are the best example regarding the likes and love of the Indian public. Though they are so famous but still today public remembers then in that daily soaps roles only.

Today the trend have changes and now all the daily soaps running on our television sets mostly focus on the current social issues like Widow remarriage , child marriage ,women empowerment, single parents,douri system so on and so far. The main intention of these daily soaps from then till now is to entertain people and to maintain a good relationship with the viewers and the society that too without losing any of the cultural thoughts. These daily soaps have deeply affected the thoughts and trend of the society.

As I have told you that our daily soaps started with the goddess and god stories as in daily soaps and now they are on the erg of increasing public demand and interest, now in 2014 if we look in to the T.v shows we can easily figure out the same content flow is shown but in a very creative and innovative manner to stick the audience the best example is of MAHABHARAT, MAHADEV, HAATIM in latest more of daily soaps. The story line is same but the way of presentation is totally different because of the influence of the new technologies.

From 1984s till today only the manner of presentation have changed totally without making any of the dimensions to the old serial story line. As compared to early stage now we are having lots of channels with lots of serials playing at time with large number of viewers. Today television id alive only because of all the daily soaps including all the other reality shows. Though the time has changed a lot but still the mode of entertainment element in daily soaps till then to know is the same and viewer oriented.

The Daily Soaps Opera is the business, affecting how and what people think. To believe that people are able to disregard everything they perceive in the entertainment media because the scenarios presented aren't literally "true," or because they are loosely staged simulations of reality (as in "reality" shows), we would also have to believe that people disregard all messages in advertising, since ads commonly present actors and models in simulated situations. But that is simply not how the human mind works. In order for an entertainment show or commercial to be effective, the audience must identify in some way with the characters and what they are doing, even if some aspects of the situation are "unrealistic."

As we all know women are more interested in Daily soaps than that of men’s ration and after doing all the household work the only option left for them is to watch the repeated episodes of the serials. Though they have seen the same episode a day before the interest is not lost they still like to watch it again and again. And as the Bullet Theory all the melodramatic Seans hits the minds of the viewer and its results to the manipulation of that same events in real life.

Most people would probably admit that this very ad has some positive general influence on society's view of women in the workplace. And as India is a country were women are more attached toward the emotional part and they are very concern about the character in the serial as if they are someone special to them. This mentality leads to a very in-depth dilemma of relating to a particular character as if they are seeing themselves in that particular situation. And even in some of the melodramatic situations in the daily soaps they also try thinking and behaving like that particular character. The best example is of Tulsi from SAAS BHE KABHE BAHU THE… everyone including me, if try to portrait any Indian daughter in law the first image which comes in our mind will be of Tulsi.

The best way to define social media is to break it down. Media is an instrument on communication, like a newspaper or a radio, so social media would be a social instrument of communication. And the weapon of social media is perfectly used by the Daily soap people perfectly to gain the attention of the people and to make them aware and also to keep them informed about the current status of the Serial.

With few ways to band together and a geographically dispersed community of fellow soap opera viewers, dedicated viewers of shows formed fan clubs, some with the intent of official affiliation with a soap. These fan clubs were the first attempt at moving beyond small, loosely affiliated fan networks that often were driven primarily by other relationships (family, friends, coworkers, classmates) and facilitated the development of a larger social network of fans explicitly centered on their common interest in these shows.

The Internet has changed greatly from the discussion groups of the 1990s to the variety of forums available today.  for instance, online discussion groups were still in their infancy; a far wider diversity of soap fan communities can be found today. Now, discussion forums exist alongside a variety of soap news sites, blogs, podcasts, and video sharing sites, as well as other emerging sites of social networking for fan communities that reflect changing Internet technologies and cultural practices. Further, a much greater portion of the viewership has signed on in the past decade, even as a number of soap viewers have turned out, as declining viewership numbers reveal. However, the Internet did not rise to meet all the needs of the fan community simultaneously, but only as it became technically possible to port these social practices online from offline fan network behavior.

 The soap opera linked to and embedded in ongoing discussions, integrating these new online behaviors into existing and prevailing modes of online soap opera social networks. And have made the audience to stick with them in the name of entertainment.

The impact of replacing “actors of daily soaps”…

All Daily soaps try to entertain viewers with different tracks and storylines. In order to create sensation amongst viewers, every show normally has new and unexpected twists in the story that leave the audiences' spell bound. Writers & directors, in their quest to show something 'different', many a times, entertain viewers with certain unreal moments! Like, after a particular character is shown 'dead', they suddenly come alive, but with a new face! Some meet with an accident, go into coma and loose their memory, unable to recognize their own family. These are certain twists that occur in almost all the serials. 

Sujal, the very famous character of 'Kahiin Toh Hoga'? The character was played by the then lead actor, Rajeev Khandelwal. Suddenly, viewers found Sujal dead in an accident. Later, he returned from out of the blue, but this time it was not Rajeev, but Gurpreet who played the role. Whats surprising is that, not only did the face change, but his voice, body structure, height and even the colour of his eyes changed! All this is some thing crap which are known to the audience but still they are use to such screaning but they are not left with any other oprions. Al last in the end of the the only option for entertainment is the idiot box.

All these are the only ways & means to carry a story forward? Maybe directors and writers cannot be entirely blamed, as when a serial runs for six to seven years, one really runs short of ideas. Plus, over the years, we've known and have reason to believe, that story may not always be the reason for such twists & turns in serials. There are many other factors involved.. like some 'behind-the-scenes' reasons for a certain twist in a show!

But whatever the reason, its high time writers, producers, directors begin to think of new plots for serials instead of the same old stories/tracks followed in all serials. Coz audience ka 'dil maange more'! Or are we asking for too much?! You decide!

Is Television taking off our Social Life..?

The television has become one of a family's existing elements to such an extent that now a days. It is a part of every home whether it is in an urban locality or the rural. In short we can say that it became part of our basic need.

It helps to educate young people, it provides entertainment at home and it also tells us all about upcoming things happening in and around the country throughout the world.

It is very much useful in our day to day life but at the same time, it also has a negative, a negative impact on the society. People have got so very addicted towards TV and its wide variety of programmers that no one has time to share a single second for their neighbor.

We rarely go to a party where people are not heard talking of having missed a television programme. So much those, programmes like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata made people even leave important appointments for. With this change, Entertainments are found as a ‘Idiot Box'. This is a very bad impact of the TV on the social lives of people. Besides the adults, even children prefer to watch a programme on the TV. Rather than enjoy a game of football or cricket.

TV has a negative impact on both i.e. the adults & the children, in making them unsocial. My personal view is that, if we are not able to strike a balance between TV viewing and socializing, that day is not far when society as a whole, will be a lost entity and non-existent.

Today the concept of television has totally changed from the concept of medium of communication, now television is some this more than to everyone the emergence of television serials that for all age group from children to ager people there are programs and even channels specialized to every particular age group.
